At the end of the first semester of school year 2011, we hold a talent show at the assembly hall to wrap up the year on a festive note and to say farewell to our retiring teacher Mr. Rey-Ching Liu.
2011學年第一學期終了，我們在禮堂舉行才藝表演，以喜樂的心情揮別舊的一年，同時歡送即將退休的劉瑞慶老師。
We have our winter break from Jan. 17~ Feb. 7 (Chinese New Year falls on Jan. 22).
The second semester will begin on Feb. 8.
一月17至二月7日是寒假，一月22日是今年的農曆新年。下學期開學日是二月8日。
The Chinese Orchestra Troupe from our neighboring school, the Ming-Chi Elementary School, is invited to perform.
They are then joined by the students from our own Chinese Orchestra Club.
我們的鄰校明恥國小國樂團應邀演出，之後本校國樂社的小朋友也加入表演。
A Chinese style stand-up comedy performed by our 6th-grade students Pei-Yung Liang and Shao-Fan Hu has everyone laughing.

Note: Do the prop trees on the stage look familiar to you?
Yes, they used to be the Christmas tree we had for the Christmas.
Our art teachers reuse them for the stage decoration. Aren’t they just clever!

After the talent show, we hold a farewell ceremony for our retiring teacher Mr. Rey-Ching Liu.
才藝表演之後，我們舉行儀式歡送即將退休的劉瑞慶老師。
Mr. Liu has been with the school for 30 years. His leaving is a big loss to all of us.
劉老師在本校服務三十年，他的離去將是本校的一大損失。
